Ingredients

1 lb ground pork
1 lb ground Italian sausage
1 egg
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped
1/2 cup packed basil leaves
2 – 3 cups shredded mozzarella/pizza mix cheese
4 cups arugula, tossed with olive oil, lemon juice, salt/pepper

Directions

Grease the bottom of a big skillet. Layer the ground pork and Italian sausage in the skillet, combining them to make a “crust”. Crack an egg on top and spread it around the sausage crust. Sprinkle over the breadcrumbs and Italian seasoning. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes until the sausage crust is cooked through. Remove from oven, layer sauce over the sausage crust, then toss over mushrooms and basil. Sprinkle cheese over the top and bake at 400 degrees for another 25 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly. Top pizza with arugula and serve!
