Lunar New Year has never looked so good!
1 lb ground pork
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 small white onion, finely diced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon ginger paste or fresh grated ginger (can sub 1 tsp ground ginger)
2 heaping tablespoons of chili crisp
½ cup cilantro, roughly chopped
1 8oz can water chestnuts, roughly chopped
½ block of cream cheese, melted
36 wonton wrappers
Sauté pork and onion together in sesame oil until pork is browned. Add soy sauce, ginger, chili crisp, cilantro and water chestnuts. Mix well on medium heat until well combined and sizzling. Let mixture cool. Fold in melted cream cheese. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray and line each one with wonton wrapper. Scoop a tablespoon of pork filling inside each wonton and pinch the wonton wrapper together with water to form a pouch. Spray wrapped dumplings with cooking spray before you place the muffin tray in the oven. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. These can also be air fried or deep/pan friend. Enjoy with sweet chili sauce, kids love them dipped in honey!
